SCK LAUNCH Experience Needs You!

2018 SCK LAUNCH Experience Save the Date-Sectors

Are you comfortable working with and interacting with students? SCK LAUNCH Experience Group Leaders are vital facilitators for Experience. As a group leader, you will interact with and guide students through the Experience event - from start to finish. Click here to view the two-page detail information packet that outlines the 'day-in-the-life' of a SCK LAUNCH Experience Group Leader. The most important part to remember about being a Group Leader is HOW EXCITED the students are to be participating in the Experience hands-on career expo.

Would you rather volunteer elsewhere for the Experience event? Please contact Director of Programs and Events Katie Dykes for additional information about other volunteer opportunities.

STEP Funding Still Available for Small Businesses

If you run a small business in Kentucky, you may not know you have the opportunity to increase your export potential. Companies can begin exporting or boost their current international sales through the State Trade Expansion Program (STEP) grant funded through the US Small Business Administration.

Small businesses that wish to participate in the STEP program must submit an application by Nov. 23 and use approved funds by Dec. 31. Funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis and companies can secure approval before final plans for the capital are in place.
